Being in front of a camera can be intimidating, so let me tell you a little about myself.

My name is Patrick, but most people call me Pat. I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland.
I am married and have three children aged 2, 6 and 9. I have been living in beautiful Switzerland for almost a decade. As a family we like to visit different parts of Switzerland and of course other countries whenever possible.
You rarely see me go anywhere without a camera, you just never know what you're going to see or what might happen, right? With over 16 years of experience as a sports photographer, I have been fortunate enough to travel the world and document many different sporting events. I even had the chance to work with famous athletes and even the odd music or film star along the way. My biggest success was the World Press Award 2009.
At the beginning of 2024, it was time to start a new adventure called Pat Murphy Photography.
For me, a portrait can be a very empowering and intimate study of a person. It's about showing their natural beauty or showing the connection between people. I am committed to bringing your ideas to life. Let's work together to create something truly unforgettable.​
